Don't read... Least you wish to be bored...
Highlight to read...
In another silent night on the streets of Tokyo, the shouts of a rumble break out into the night.
A rough looking, sandy hair man stood before his fallen opponents. Cracking his knuckles, his towering figure shadows the battered men. A somewhat distant, yet blunt, sounding voice emits from the figure. "Have you boys had enough fun yet? Or do you want some more?" As if on queue, the injured men scrambled away, limping and trying to get away from the scene.
Giving off a small sigh, Rook turned around to see what interested those boys so much. Before him a young ebony hair girl, looking no more then 19 years of age, laid motionless behind him, battered and bruised. He walked up to her, kneeled down and gently shook her shoulder. "Hey. Hey… You all right?" The girl, weakly, looked up at Rook and collapsed just a few moments later. "Great…"
Rook tried to figure out what to do next. Taking this girl to the hospital was the right thing to do but his appearance in public might set off alarms to people who knew about who he really was. Shrugging, he quickly made up his mind and picked up the girl from the ground. It wouldn't really matter if anyone recognized him. All he had to do was quickly drop her off at the nearby hospital and get away on his motorcycle. Walking a short distance to his bike, Rook tried to place the girl in a comfortable position. Turning on the ignition, the machine roared to life as he sped away into the darkness.
At least 20 minutes past before he reached the hospital. Getting off, he reaching for the girl. The instance that he picked her up, his bike fell to the ground with a fairly loud thud. Rook looked at it for a second but ran off towards the hospital's entrance. Rushing through the doors, Rook ran up to the front desk. "Hey! Girl! I need some help here!" The nurse looked at him as if she were afraid that he might ransack the building, but taking a look at the girl in his arms, a look of shock appeared on her face. She quickly grabbed the nearby phone and called for help. Some assistance soon appeared and carried off the girl into medical bay. As the nurse watched the girl being taken away, Rook slipped away to the outside world.
Rook walked over to where his bike was; it scratched pretty badly from the drop but it could still run. Propping it up, he crouched down to examine the damage that was done. He shook his head as he tried to calculate the cost it would take to repair it. Getting up, he took out a cigarette and a lighter from his jacket. Just as he lit the cigarette and the first few puffs of smoke parted from his mouth, he looked at the hospital. Leaning against his bike, Rook smiled to himself. "How ironic… that I'd be back in a place like this. This is definitely a good place to discipline someone. Especially with that kind of food."
Rook quietly laughed at no one. Dropping his cigarette, he got onto his bike and sped away into the night.
