Update of the anime fangirl

 
Once again, I vanished off into the underworld called "my mind". Sorry about that people. I'll semi-make it up to you guys. I'm going to write some mini reviews of what I've been watching lately anime-wise. Mangas too I guess. ^_^

Tactics: The story revolves around a folklorist/excorcist named Kantarou Ichinomiya who seeks out the "oni-eating" tengu because of the stories he'd heard about him as a child. He wants to be friends with him since the demon is known to be very strong and wishes to call the tengu, Haruka (as in being extremely strong). In this Japan, if a person gives a demon a name then that demon is bound by contract under that person. Once Kantarou discovers 'Haruka', their adventures begin.

The series just ended recently in Japan and I have to say that I enjoyed it, even though there's more in the story then where it ended. I don't know and haven't reach any of the manga so I can't really compare the storyline but I have to say that I like this series. It had fairly good pacing and, in general, there were few times I became bored with it. I'm not sure who's my favorite character though. Rosalie and Yuko are both cool. ^_^ Yes, I like the girls in this series. Kan-chan is fun too. I can relate with him in many ways. Poor guy. During the final episode, I never realized how much this one character affected me until well... I can't say everything but it was heartbreaking for me. T_T

Gundam Seed Destiny: I'm not going to write a summary of this since most people know about it. Its basically been three years after Gundam Seed and many characters return to battle conflicts within the warring world of Naturals and Coordinators but also with their own standing in what they believe in.

I admit to not watching Gundam Seed before proceeding onto this but I enjoy it. Its probably one of the better Gundam series, in my opinion. Though the pacing is kind of off at times, I still enjoy learning about all these characters and their conflicts. For some weird reason, I'm extremely intrigued by the "experiments" of the Earth Alliance and I'd like to see where Stella and Shin's relationship ends up. I want to see what happens in the major battle aka the final battle, but that won't come anytime soon. I think. XD

Bleach: Its about this boy named Ichigo Kurosaki who has the ability to communicate with ghosts. One day, while in his room, a shinigami or Soul Reaper, appears before him and fortells the coming danger of a "hollow", spirits who can't pass into the afterlife. By sacrificing her powers, Rukia Kuchiki, transfers her "dark force" to Ichigo so that he could save his family and thus his journey as a Soul Reaper begins.

I really like this series. Manga and anime wise. It has action, relationships and comedy all mixed into one. There have been times whre the pacing is a bit slow and some things just seem to be carried out but it just makes you want more. XD It also tends to end on big cliffhangers. Why!? XD The first opening song is great! I love it. ^_^ I'm continuing to watch this series and can't wait to see what happens to Ichigo and the gang. I want to see some captain action! XP Yoruichi is probably one of my favorite characters now for some reason. Yes, I love the black cat. XD But, the black cat does some kickass things. ^_^

Loveless: Ritsuka Aoyagi has recently transfered into a new school and seems like a normal kid... besides the cat ears... and tail... and the fact that he says he "hates" a lot of people, but anyhow. People of this world are born with these added features but lose them when they become "sextually aware of someone else". His brother was killed a few years ago and ever since then he hasn't been the same. Trying to juggle his life and find his brother's murderer, he comes across a man named Soubi, who apparently was a friend of his late brother. Suddenly he's thrown into a complex battle where words are the key weapon.

I admit that I've addicted myself to another series. This time its mainly the manga but the anime just came out in Japan so I hope I get to see that soon too. Anywho, I really like the word play in this manga, even though its confusing at times. I want to know more about there people and I want to see more battles! *Hugs* I want to have car ears. XD

Sukisyo: A yaoi series based on a popular game that tells of the story of Sora Hashiba, who recently feel out of a window and forgot most of his memories of the distant past, has returned to school without much of a care. Suddenly, an old friend, Sunao Fujimori appears at Sora's school. What memories does this boy carry along with him? Oh, there's also the other fact that the two have alter egos who... well, "want" each other. Badly. XD

I watched most of it and I must say that its a fairly intense yaoi series. Nonetheless, I love the character relationships and story. Its funny half the time and serious the other half. But seriously... Where in the world does a school full of "yaoi" exist!? XD

Phew! I think that's pretty much it for now. There are other things I could rant about but it would take way, way too long and my brain can't quite stand it. XD
